I have recently joined the Society of Authors. Effectively, writers trade union. The SoA can advise on matters relating to writers, but at the moment, it is concerned with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the particular impact this could have on jobs within the industry.

Within the SoA,  I have also joined the Buckinghamshire group and we will be looking at the potential of audiobooks, which are growing in    popularity.  

I have also joined the Crime Writers Association (CWA) and this also     offers opportunities to develop my spread of readers.
